Location: Cooinda aged care, Gympie, QLD 
Casual Position | Shifts are from 9AM to 4:30PM, Mon to Fri. (The hours and shifts may change each fortnight)

As part of a dedicated team of Creative Lifestyle Facilitators and local volunteers, you will have the opportunity to craft meaningful experiences for our residents. Whether it’s music, movement, arts, storytelling, or interactive games, your unique talents will help create a vibrant and fulfilling environment.

We are looking for someone who is warm, engaging, and client-focused, with a genuine passion for enriching the lives of others. Whether you have experience facilitating group activities or simply have a creative skill or hobby you’d love to share, we would love to hear from you!

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Planning and facilitating individual and group creative lifestyle activities tailored to residents' interests and abilities.
  • Collaborating with residents, families, and care staff to assess and meet social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
  • Ensuring that all residents, including those unable to participate in group activities, feel supported and engaged.
  • Providing technical assistance, such as setting up virtual meetings or digital engagement tools.
  • Building strong relationships and fostering a welcoming and inclusive community for all residents.
