We’re seeking a reliable Cleaner/Catering Assistant to join our team at Cooinda Aged Care, Gympie. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents and visitors.
Location: Gympie, Qld.
Role Type: Casual Positions
Remuneration: $37.51 ph (includes 25% casual loading) + Super +Salary Packaging +Access to staff discounts & benefits
What You'll Do:
- Provide a high standard of cleaning and hygiene throughout the facility
- Ensure residents’ rooms and shared areas are tidy, clean, and welcoming
- Monitor and use cleaning chemicals safely and effectively
- Support meal preparation and service with warmth and care
- Work closely with the Chef and other team members to ensure smooth mealtimes
- Engage respectfully with residents, visitors, and co-workers
What You'll Bring:
- You have strong attention to detail and a positive attitude
- Previous experience in Cleaning/Catering Assistant in an aged care environment is highly regarded
- You’re comfortable using cleaning equipment and following safety procedures
- NDIS Worker Screening or valid Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
