Availability for Weekend & Sleepover shifts desired but not essential

Pay Scale: $35.27- $38.48 ph + Shift Penalties + Salary packaging + Employee discounts

About The Role:
Located in Nambour on the Sunshine Coast, our Graceville Centre provides support to individuals living with a mental illness and/or disability. All Graceville services are conducted by working with individuals in a strength based and recovery focused framework. Graceville Centre operates seven programs that provide support to clients either on site or in their own homes. We are a growing service and regularly have internal opportunities for career growth.

As a Support Worker you will work across multiple programs with individuals helping them to increase their independence, maintain their wellness and ultimately improve the quality of their life.
Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide flexible, support tailored to client needs and preferences.
  • Assist with personal care and daily living tasks, ensuring dignity and independence.
  • Encourage community participation and social engagement for individuals.
  • Support skill development and independence-building activities.
  • Work collaboratively with case managers and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client care and interactions.

 What You Bring to the Team:

  • Transferrable skills and/or study in a related field
  • A strong passion for empowering individuals with a mental illness and/or disabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with clients and their families.
  • A valid Queensland Driver’s Licence.
  • A valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance & Blue Card.
