Your Role – Supporting & Encouraging Growth:
At Lutheran Services, we believe in empowering people with disabilities to lead independent, connected, and fulfilling lives. As a Support Worker, you will play a key role in assisting individuals with personal care, social engagement, and life skills development.
As a Support Worker, you will:
- Provide one-on-one and group support to help individuals participate in community and social activities.
- Assist with personal care and daily living tasks, ensuring dignity and respect.
- Support individuals in developing life skills, independence, and confidence.
- Deliver evidence-based, person-centered care tailored to each client’s needs.
- Promote positive behaviors and build strong relationships with clients and their families.
- Accurately document support activities and collaborate with case managers and other stakeholders.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Disability Support, Aged Care, or Home Care.
- A strong passion for empowering individuals with disabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with clients and their families.
- Flexibility to work within a structured fortnightly schedule.
- A valid Queensland Driver’s Licence.
- A valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance & Blue Card.
