  • Remuneration: $29.12 – $30.42 per hour + Salary Packaging (up to $15,990) + Access to staff discounts & benefits.
  • Experience in a commercial kitchen, along with a Cert III or Cert IV in Commercial Cookery, is highly regarded.

About The Role:

The Chef and/or Cook plays a vital role in leading and guiding the meal service team to ensure efficient and effective operations. This includes delivering high-quality meals that meet residents' nutritional needs and adhere to accepted standards. As part of a supportive team, you will work a variety of shifts between 6 am and 6 pm on a fortnightly roster, preparing and serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner in our Residential Aged Care facility.

  

About You:
You will have experience, knowledge and the creativity to join our team at Immanuel Gardens Retirement Aged Care Facility. You will contribute to our groundbreaking 'Happy Tables project and....

  • Be eager to deliver a 'food-first' approach to combating malnutrition. 
  • Have demonstrated experience in a high-volume kitchen catering team
  • Hold a Certificate III or Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or above.
  • Must hold a valid Queensland Driver’s Licence
  • Must maintain a valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance
