Creative Lifestyle Facilitator (with Driving Duties)
Employment Type: Part-Time (24 hours/fortnight)
Shifts: Tuesday & Thursday | 11:00am – 5:00pm
Location: Immanuel Gardens, Buderim, QLD
Remuneration: $35.28 ph + Super + Salary Packaging + Access to staff discounts & benefits
Are you a confident and caring driver who enjoys connecting with older people? We’re looking for a Creative Lifestyle Facilitator to support our resident outings and activities, where safe and enjoyable transport is a key part of the role.
In this position, you’ll help residents stay socially active by driving them to appointments, community events, and lifestyle excursions. When not on the road, you’ll support the Creative Lifestyle team with meaningful activities that bring joy, engagement and connection to daily life.
What You’ll do:
- Drive the site bus to support resident outings and community access
- Assist residents safely on and off the vehicle
- Support lifestyle activities before/after outings
- Build positive relationships with residents and help make each outing enjoyable
- Contribute to documentation and resident engagement feedback
What We’re Looking For:
- MR licence preferred (C Class licence considered)
- Confident, safe driving skills and ability to transport residents
- Friendly, patient, and supportive approach
- Ability to engage with older adults, including those with varying needs
- Willingness to assist in lifestyle programs when not driving
- Current NDIS Worker Screening or Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
