We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced School-Based Youth Support Officer to join our team supporting young people at Dakabin.

Location: Dakabin
Part-Time | Mondays & Tuesdays | 30.4 Hours Per Fortnight | 7:54 AM – 4:00 PM

About The Role:
In this important role, you’ll support students through evidence-based wellbeing programs and meaningful individual engagement that promotes participation, confidence, and growth.

As a Youth Support Officer, you will:

  • Facilitate personal development programs to support student wellbeing and social skills
  • Conduct one-on-one support sessions and help students set positive goals
  • Monitor progress, document outcomes, and assist with feedback to improve delivery
  • Build strong partnerships with the school, families, and service providers
  • Be a consistent, caring presence for students navigating challenges

About You:

  • Experience supporting youth in education or community services
  • Passionate about creating opportunities for young people to succeed
  • Confident in program delivery and mentoring
  • Organised and self-motivated, with strong interpersonal skills

Mandatory requirements:

  • Positive Blue Card
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
  • QLD Driver’s Licence
