Our Domestic & Family Violence Refuge Services is looking for an experienced Senior Case Manager to deliver high-quality, client-focused mobile outreach and refuge-based case management to women and children who have experienced domestic and family violence.
Role Type: Full Time, Max Term Contract Position Until 20 September, 2027
Location: Brisbane | Mon to Fri | 9am - 5pm | Participation in an after-hours on-call roster.
Remuneration Range: $54.50 - $56.97 ph + Super + On-Call Roster Allowance+ Salary Packaging + Access to staff discounts & benefits

About Role:
This role provides specialist case management support to women and children experiencing domestic and family violence, including those presenting with complex and high-risk needs. As a senior member of the team, you will also support, mentor and guide Case Managers, contributing to strong professional practice, consistent service delivery and high-quality outcomes for victim-survivors.
- Conduct initial and comprehensive assessments of client needs and risk, with ongoing safety planning and risk monitoring.
- Developing, implementing and reviewing case management plans that are driven by client need and choice, using strengths-based, evidence-based practice
- Delivering case management, group work and community development interventions to help women and children safely re-establish themselves in the community
- Assessing and responding to the safety and needs of children and young people, including reporting concerns to statutory authorities
- Building strong working relationships with clients, families, referrers, housing providers, legal entities, government organisations and specialist services
- Mentoring and guiding Case Managers in their professional development
- Maintaining accurate client records, case notes and data in line with policy and legislation
- Holding a specialist portfolio agreed with your Manager
- Completing a quarterly case study as required under the funding agreement
- Participating in the after-hours on-call service (On call for a one week period at a time)
About You:
You're a skilled, resilient and values-driven practitioner with a deep commitment to supporting victim-survivors of domestic and family violence. You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and are confident managing competing priorities, responding to complex and high-risk situations, and making sound decisions under pressure.
- Tertiary qualifications relevant to the role and/or extensive experience in a similar role
- High-level understanding of the domestic and family violence, family services or child safety sectors
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work both as part of a team and independently with limited supervision
- A current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- A current Queensland driver's licence
