Catering Assistant

Location: Toowoomba

Bring your passion for food and service to our Northridge Aged Care team. As a Catering Assistant, you’ll help create enjoyable dining experiences that brighten the days of our residents.

Location: Toowoomba - QLD
Role Type: Permanent Part Time | 48 hrs Fortnight 
Remuneration: $28.32 – $30.58 ph + Super + Salary Packaging + Shift Penalties + Staff discounts & benefits.

Work Roster:
Week 1: Tuesday (12:30 pm - 7:00 pm) | Wednesday, Friday & Saturday (8:00 am - 2:30 pm)
Week 2: Thursday (1:20pm - 7:00pm) | Wednesday, Friday & Saturday (8:00 am - 2:30 pm)

What You’ll Do:
  • Support meal preparation and service with warmth and care.
  • Maintain kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.
  • Work closely with the Chef and other team members to ensure smooth mealtimes.
  • Engage respectfully with residents and provide friendly, person-centred service.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Previous experience in a catering or aged care kitchen environment (preferred).
  • A commitment to food safety and a team-focused attitude.
  • Compassion, reliability, and strong attention to detail.
