Full-Time Role (76 hours fortnight) | Innovate in Aged Care Lifestyle Programs
 
​Lutheran Services is seeking a Creative Lifestyle Coordinator to join our Northridge Aged Care team in Toowoomba. In this role, you will design and lead dynamic programs that enrich the lives of aged care residents.

Your Role – Creating Experiences That Matter:

  • Develop and implement engaging, person-centered programs tailored to residents’ creative and social interests.
  • Build strong community connections, bringing in volunteers, artists, musicians, and cultural groups to enhance resident experiences.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Lifestyle Facilitators and Volunteers, ensuring they are supported, valued, and engaged.
  • Manage volunteer recruitment, training, and development, fostering a thriving and motivated volunteer community.
  • Evaluate and refine programs, ensuring they align with residents’ interests and contribute to their overall wellbeing.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

  • Experience designing, facilitating, and evaluating engaging group activities and events.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills to motivate volunteers and connect with residents.
  • A passion for building community engagement and fostering meaningful experiences.
  • A formal qualification in Leisure & Lifestyle, Arts, Music, Drama, Dance Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or a related field.
