We’re seeking reliable and motivated Groundskeepers to join our Orana team at Kingaroy. Perfect for an experienced individual who is committed to maintaining the safety, functionality, and appearance of our facility, where residents can enjoy the sunshine, potter in the garden or spend time with family.
Location: Orana Aged Care, Kingaroy - QLD
Employment Type: Permanent Part Time - 4 days per week
Remuneration: $30.20 per hour + Super + Salary Packaging + Employee Assistance Program
About The Role:
In this hands-on role, you’ll manage the day-to-day maintenance of gardens and outdoor spaces, helping keep our facility clean, safe, and welcoming.
What You’ll Do
- Mow lawns, trim plants, water gardens, and keep grounds tidy
- Use gardening tools, machinery, and safety gear responsibly
- Report hazards or issues to help keep the team safe
- Work with others and follow clear instructions from your supervisor
- Help with stock checks and maintaining equipment
- Engage respectfully with fellow team members, residents, and visitors
About You
- Enjoy working outside and with your hands
- Want to learn new skills and take pride in your work
- Reliable, respectful, and safety-conscious
- Comfortable following guidance and working with a team
- Must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or Police Check
