We are seeking a skilled Grounds & Maintenance Officer who is committed to maintaining the safety, functionality, and appearance of our facilities through proactive maintenance and repair work.

Full-Time Role | Monday – Friday, 76 hours/fortnight
Location: Orana Aged Care & Retirement Living, Kingaroy - QLD

This role will support both our residential aged care facility and independent living community, ensuring a well-maintained and safe environment for residents and staff. Flexible working arrangements (including part-time) available for the right candidate

About The Role:
In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department, ensuring the upkeep of grounds and buildings according to the schedule of works. You will also manage building and maintenance projects as directed, while ensuring that equipment and materials are used responsibly and safely. Your work will help create a safe and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

About You:

  • Experience in commercial maintenance, groundskeeping, or a similar role (preferred but not required)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and preventative maintenance schedules
  • A team player with a proactive attitude and proven customer service focus
  • Valid Police Check and Queensland Driver’s Licence
