We are seeking an experienced Clinical Manager to join our Salem Aged Care Service and play a key role in ensuring residents receive safe, high-quality, person-centred clinical care.

Full Time | Monday to Friday | 8 am - 4 pm 


About The Role: 
As Clinical Manager, You'll provide strong clinical leadership and mentorship to a multidisciplinary care team, driving excellence in medication management, care planning, clinical governance, and resident outcomes reporting to the Service Manager.  

  • Lead person-centred care planning and delivery
  • Oversee clinical governance, quality, IPC and risk management
  • Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and Aged Care Act 2024
  • Manage Direct Care Minutes and oversee AN-ACC funding applications
  • Lead, coach and mentor clinical/care staff; manage rosters and performance
  • Manage clinical budget and supplies

About You:

  • Nursing qualification with current AHPRA registration
  • Clinical leadership experience in Residential Aged Care and experience leading clinical teams.
  • Demonstrated capability in clinical governance, including quality systems, audits and risk management
  • In-depth knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards, AN-ACC funding model, Direct Care Minutes, & regulatory requirements under the Aged Care Act 2024
  • Experience overseeing AN-ACC assessments, care planning and clinical documentation
  • High-level clinical assessment, reasoning and decision-making skills for residents with complex needs
  • Experience in workforce planning, rostering and resource management aligned to resident acuity

Desirable:

  • Postgraduate qualification or IPC Lead certification
  • Budget management experience
  • QLD Driver's Licence
