Lead New Horizons of Capital Development, Mergers & Acquisitions Integrations

Lutheran Services is seeking an experienced Head of Capital Development & Integrations to lead major infrastructure programs, strategic partnerships, and post-merger integrations. This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of care delivery through purpose-driven capital investment and enterprise transformation.

Employment Type: Full-Time
Remuneration Range: $200K - $230K

About the Role

Reporting to the Executive Director – Enterprise Transformation, this role leads a high-performing team across capital development, infrastructure delivery, and integration. You will oversee the full lifecycle of major capital programs and acquisitions, ensuring alignment with organisational purpose, financial stewardship, and community outcomes.

In this role, you are excited to:

  • Lead large-scale capital development programs aligned to our Strategic Asset Plan
  • Oversee design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of infrastructure projects
  • Manage strategic partnerships, acquisitions, and post-merger integrations
  • Develop frameworks and toolkits to enhance delivery capability across the organisation
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure future-ready, fit-for-purpose facilities
  • Represent Lutheran Services in strategic forums and inter-agency planning
  • Ensure governance, risk, and compliance across all capital and integration initiatives

This role is based in our Milton office with flexibility to work from home occasionally.

About You

You are a strategic leader with deep experience in capital works and enterprise integration, ideally in the NFP sector.  You thrive in complex, multi-stakeholder environments and bring a values-aligned, collaborative approach to leadership. You will have:

  • Proven experience leading major capital works and infrastructure programs
  • Strong track record in mergers & acquisitions, due diligence, and integration
  • Deep understanding of property delivery standards and vendor management
  • Experience in governance, board reporting, and regulated sectors
  • High-level strategic, financial, and analytical capability
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and leadership skills
