As a Health and Safety Partner, you will play a crucial role in implementing our Health Safety & Wellbeing frameworks. Your expertise will ensure a safe working environment through advice, training, monitoring, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with leaders, staff, volunteers, regulatory bodies, and suppliers.
  • Implement WHS programs and initiatives.
  • Monitor safety metrics and recommend improvements through risk assessments.
  • Guide incident and hazard reporting.
  • Develop reports and regulatory requests.
  • Coach leaders and staff on health and safety duties.
  • Conduct safety reviews and inspections.
  • Deliver health and safety training.
  • Provide WHS and Fire Safety advice.
  • Manage workplace rehabilitation and injury management.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Health and Safety.
  • 3-5 years of WHS Advisory experience.
  • Knowledge of WHS legislation and Codes of Practice.
  • Strong time management and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Current Queensland Driver’s Licence and satisfactory Police Check.
  • Ability to travel to sites.

Desirable:

  • Training and Assessment qualification, such as Certificate IV in WHS
  • Understanding of Aged Care and | or Community Services industries.
