Lutheran Services is looking for a hands-on, people-focused Hotel Services Team Leader to supervise and support our Hotel Services (Cleaning & Laundry) team at our St.Pauls Aged Care

Location: Caboolture - QLD
Remuneration: $34.32 hr + Super + Salary Packaging +Access to staff discounts & benefits
Role Type: Permanent Part Time (65 hrs fortnight) | Mon to Fri (8:30am - 3.30pm)     

Your Role:
This is a role for someone who leads from the front, you'll roll up your sleeves alongside your team, mentor and develop staff, and drive continuous improvement across the department. 

Reporting to the Service Manager, you'll coordinate the day-to-day delivery of hotel services to ensure our residents receive the highest quality of care and service in a clean, comfortable and well-supported living environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Coordinating the day-to-day operations of the cleaning and laundry teams to deliver high-quality service to residents and stakeholders
  • Leading, motivating and mentoring your team to build a high-performing, positive workplace culture
  • Coordinating induction and onboarding for new team members
  • Supporting the ongoing training and professional development of your team
  • Regularly undertaking cleaning and/or laundry shifts alongside your team
  • Monitoring and ordering cleaning and laundry supplies to ensure efficient, well-stocked operations
  • Liaising with external contractors as required
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and audits, identifying and reporting risks
  • Operating within the department budget in consultation with the Service Manager

About You:
You're a natural leader who's comfortable getting involved in the day-to-day work, communicates well with residents, families and care staff, and takes pride in creating a genuinely positive living environment for older Australians.

  • Current or willingness to obtain a valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or Police Check (as per site requirements)
  • Valid Queensland Driver's Licence
  • Experience in a similar hotel services, cleaning, or laundry supervisory role, including use of specialised equipment
  • Experience leading and managing a diverse team (Aged care experience preferred)
  • Relevant qualifications in hospitality, cleaning services, or team leadership
