Seeking a Maintenance Supervisor

Are you a skilled leader with a passion for maintenance and facility management? Lutheran Services is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the operations of our maintenance services, ensuring a safe, well-maintained environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Remuneration: $31.92 – $33.26 per hour + Salary Packaging + Access to staff discounts & benefits.
Aged care experience essential

Let’s Talk About The Role:
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for coordinating the day to day operations of the maintenance department including works scheduling.

  • Provide advice to management on projects and building and maintenance works
  • Manage the maintenance budget
  • Ensuring the maintenance tasks around the property are completed
  • Ensuring equipment and garden materials are utilised in a responsible and safe manner
  • Ensuring any work undertaken is within the scope of expertise of this role
  • Work to reduce risk and bring new risks to the attention of the service manager
  • Undertaking administrative duties associated with the role

About You:

  • Extensive experience working in commercial maintenance OR
  • Possess a relevant trade qualification
  • Experience with staff management
  • A high level of effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Your ability to maintain confidentiality and impartiality
  • Respect and responsiveness to clients
  • Open Driver’s Licence
