Surrounded by beautiful gardens, our 61 bedded aged care facility "St Paul's” provides residential, transitional care beds, palliative and secure dementia care. We offer personalised aged care services focused on individual wellbeing and an enriched quality of life. We are looking for dedicated registered nurse's to join our casual team here at St Paul's. 

 

About you:

To see you successful in this role you will have:

  • AHPRA (unrestricted) Registered Nurse
  • Experience in using aged care software solutions
  • A passion for elder care and be a strong advocate for providing customer focused clinical care 
  • Ability to work a rotating roster
  • Well-developed Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experienced in group facilitation as well as working one-on-one
  • Minimum 12 months postgraduate experience desirable
  • Full work rights within Australia

 

About the role: 

As a Registered Nurse within our casual team you will be responsible for:

  • Providing comprehensive evidence-based nursing care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary health care team
  • Performing comprehensive nursing assessments develop and implement plans of care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary health care team and evaluate the progress of patient care outcomes
  • Exercising sound clinical judgement, critical thinking and ethical decision-making processes in the delivery and evaluation of care
  • Ensuring clients and other staff are treated fairly and with mutual respect and understanding, regardless of cultural, religious, ethnic and linguistic backgrounds
  • Maintaining professional skills and knowledge of self and others through participation in continuing education and performance appraisal and development
  • Provide guidance and direction to a team of carers and always maintain best practice
