About the Role

As Lutheran Services continues to grow and transform aged care and community services, our financial operations are scaling to meet the needs of a diverse and expanding organisation.

This role leads the financial management function by delivering and ensuring compliance and driving process improvements. You’ll work closely with senior leaders to inform decision-making, manage risk, and support the delivery of high-quality financial services across our portfolio.

Your responsibilities will include:

    • Prepare accurate financial reports and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulation
    • Oversee audit processes, internal controls, and risk mitigation strategies
    • Drive process improvements and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders


About You

You’re a confident leader with a passion for financial excellence and collaboration. You understand that behind every decision is a person who deserves integrity, respect, and care. You will resonate with our values of integrity, innovation, empowerment, and kindness, and live these out in your day-to-day work.

You bring:

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, or Accountancy
  • Current membership with CAANZ or CPA
  • Proven experience in financial management, reporting, and compliance
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and analytical abilities
  • High integrity and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

  • National Crime Check
  • Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
