Our team specialises in hosting a diverse range of events and activities for our clients. From dance and arts activities to sports and recreation events, we strive to provide engaging experiences that cater to various interests. 

As a Creative Engagement Partner, you will play a crucial role in developing and facilitating creative programs and activities that are person-centred and innovative. Your responsibilities will include contributing to building a sense of community and connection, supporting staff and volunteers in creatively engaging our clients, and ensuring that activities align with clients' interests and care plans. 

For over 80 years, Lutheran Services been committed to providing quality support and accommodation for various groups, including older Australians, young people and their families, individuals with disabilities or mental illness, and those experiencing domestic violence or hardship.  

Based at the Lutheran Services Support Centre in Milton, you will also have opportunities for frequent travel throughout Greater Brisbane and regional Queensland. In addition to program development, you will assist in preparing funding submissions and proposals aimed at enhancing our clients' quality of life through positive projects and activities. 

The ideal candidate for this role will excel in building strong networks with relevant organisations and community groups, as well as fostering relationships with clients and their families. While a Diploma in Business, Teaching, Arts, Creative Industries, or Public Relations is desirable, relevant experience in a similar role will also be highly regarded. Excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to work, the ability to motivate others, and a deep understanding of adult learning needs are essential. 

You will have highly developed facilitation skills in one or more creative modalities (such as visual art, music, or theatre), strong communication skills, effective networking abilities, enthusiasm, flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to motivate others. Experience collaborating with stakeholders and managing one's workload independently is also crucial.
