Position: Culture and Values Lead
Location: Support Centre, Milton
Employment Type: Full time, 12 Month Maximum Term Contract + Possible Extension.
Remuneration: $100K - $110K + Superannuation + Salary Packaging + EAP and Employee Benefits

 

If you’re passionate about shaping workplace culture, strengthening organisational identity and supporting leaders to embed values in everyday practice, this role will inspire you. As the Culture and Values Lead, you’ll help create a purpose‑driven, inclusive and values‑aligned workforce that reflects the heart of the Lutheran Services mission. You’ll partner closely with the Executive Director – Mission, Identity and Culture to steward the organisation’s identity and support meaningful cultural alignment.

 

About You

You’re a relationship‑builder who understands how culture comes to life through people, practice and purpose. You bring strong communication skills, cultural insight and experience supporting values‑aligned initiatives. Ideally, you have a background in a Human Resources/People and Culture role with:

  • Qualifications or demonstrated experience in organisational culture
  • Understanding of Lutheran ethos, identity and mission‑based human services
  • Ability to translate mission and identity into culture and models of care
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building capability across all levels
  • Experience leading others to achieve shared cultural or organisational goals
  • A valid Police Check

    Desirable: Experience in health, aged care or community services

 

About the Role

You will help shape and strengthen the identity‑led culture that guides how Lutheran Services works, cares and serves. You will:

  • Provide advice and support on culture, values and organisational identity
  • Partner with People Services to design and deliver culture and values initiatives
  • Lead a “values in action” program that brings our organisational ethos to life
  • Support alignment between culture, practices and the organisation’s mission and model of care
  • Act as a visible ambassador for Lutheran values across the organisation
  • Support training initiatives on Lutheran identity, values and model of care
