Position: HR Operations Lead, People Services
Location: Milton, Queensland
Employment Type: Full-Time Permanent
Remuneration: $110,000 - $125,000 PA + Super + Salary Packaging + Access to Staff Discounts & Benefits 

As the HR Operations Lead, you’ll play an important role in ensuring our people practices are compliant, consistent, and easy to navigate. You’ll provide specialist advice and oversight across remuneration, employment contracts, HR compliance and operational processes, partnering with leaders and the People Services team to deliver practical solutions that support our people and the organisation.

Your work will help our leaders spend less time navigating HR administration and more time focused on what matter most - supporting our people and delivering great outcomes for our residents and clients.

About You:
You're an experienced HR professional who enjoys working across both the detail and the bigger picture. You build trusted relationships, provide advice people can rely on, and bring a practical, solutions-focussed approach to your work. You're organised, commercially aware and comfortable managing competing priorities, sensitive information and complex HR matters. You're also curious about how things can be done better and enjoy improving processes, systems and ways of working.

• Experience in HR operations, remuneration, contracts, compliance or a similar HR role.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation, industrial instruments and HR compliance requirements.
• Experience interpreting and applying awards, Enterprise Agreements and remuneration frameworks.
• Strong attention to detail and sound judgement when managing sensitive and confidential information.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into clear, practical advice.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Confidence working with HR systems, data and reporting, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

About The Role:
Reporting to the Talent Services Manager, you'll provide specialist advice and oversight across key HR operational functions, helping ensure our employment practices are compliant, consistent and aligned with organisational requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Employment contracts and documentation - you and your team will oversee contracts, variations and other employment documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Remuneration - support the organisation's remuneration function, including remuneration reviews, salary structures and the application of remuneration frameworks.
• HR Compliance - monitor compliance requirements and provide advice on employment legislation, industrial instruments and organisational policies.
• Process improvement - Identify and implement opportunities to improve HR processes, systems and documentation, making it easier for leaders and employees to navigate HR services.   
• HR data and reporting - provide accurate data, reporting and insights to support workforce, remuneration and people-related decisions.
• People Services partnership - work collaboratively across People Services to deliver a consistent, responsive and high-quality HR service to leaders and employees.
