Remuneration: Circa $100K + Superannuation + Salary Packaging

As our Health and Safety Partner, you’ll support the implementation of our Health, Safety & Wellbeing frameworks—ensuring every member of our organisation feels safe, supported, and confident in their work environment.

About You

You’re proactive, solutions-focused and build strong relationships with ease. You align to our values of empowerment, innovation, kindness and integrity and you bring:

  • Experience in a WHS advisory or related role.
  • Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, Codes of Practice, and safety compliance requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management and prioritisation abilities
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively across teams
  • Current Queensland Driver Licence and satisfactory Police Check
    Desirable: Certificate-level Training & Assessment qualification; understanding of aged care or community services environments.

As a Health and Safety Partner, you’ll be the go-to expert helping leaders embed safe practices, navigate challenges, and champion a proactive safety culture across Lutheran Services.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Partner with leaders and teams to implement WHS programs and embed a strong safety culture.
  • Monitor safety performance, analyse trends, and recommend practical improvements.
  • Lead and support incident and hazard reporting, ensuring clear follow‑up actions.
  • Provide coaching, advice, and training to build capability in WHS and Fire Safety responsibilities.
  • Conduct safety reviews and inspections across sites to drive continuous improvement.
