About the role: 

The ICT Project Manager is responsible for managing the delivery of project requirements within the budget and the scope as outlined by the business case.  The ICT Project Manager is also responsible for creating and managing the project plan. 

  • Manage multiple projects at a time within the defined thresholds 

  • Responsible for project planning and project execution through to project closure 

  • Coordinate and facilitate discussions, meetings and workshops to achieve project outputs 

  • Work within the project governance, monitor, mitigate and manage all project risks and issues 

  • Assist the business with readiness, training needs and change management programs 

  • Be a subject matter expert on project management tools, methodologies and approaches and partner with all other areas of the business  

  • Proactively initiate problem-solving and identify areas of improvement to achieve successful outcomes 

  • Build strong relationships with team members and clients to work effectively towards common values and goals 

About you: 

  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Management or equivalent work experience 

  • Qualifications in Project management (PMP,PMBokK,Agile/Scrum) 

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills 

  • Team leadership, risks and issues management skills 

  • Demonstrated experience in project tools such as MS Project and Confluence and in implementing changes in business practices (highly regarded)
