Lutheran Services is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Manager-Applications & Business Intelligence to lead a high-performing team. This is an exciting opportunity to drive agile system delivery, data enablement, and the integration of intelligent automation and AI-powered automation and insights across a regulated and complex service organisation.

Remuneration range: $140K-160K

About The Role:
Reporting to the Head of ICT, this role blends strategic leadership with hands-on delivery oversight. You will shape the future of enterprise systems with AI enablement and reporting capabilities while ensuring excellent user experience and vendor engagement.
In this role, you will:
- Lead a multidisciplinary team in delivering application, integration, and BI solutions
- Drive the delivery using agile methodologies across sprint cycles and continuous system improvement projects
- Oversee Level 2 support for core business applications (ERP, CRM, Care Management, etc.)
- Manage relationships with software vendors and ensure SLAs are achieved
- Support implementation of AI-powered tools, automation, and predictive analytics
- Partner with the Transformation Delivery Office to align solutions to enterprise architecture
- Promote a culture of innovation, service improvement, and data-driven decision-making
About You
- Proven experience managing cross-functional application or data teams
- Strong grasp of Agile delivery, DevOps practices, and enterprise system support
- Solid understanding of integration architecture, reporting tools, and data governance
- Familiarity and experience with AI, machine learning, and intelligent process automation
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills
- Comfortable working across multiple platforms and managing multiple projects simultaneously
Desirable:
- Experience in service-based industries such as aged care, healthcare, or NFPs
- Experience with AI tools within a corporate environment such as Microsoft Copilot,
- Experience with Reporting and automation tools such as Power BI, RPA tools (e.g. UiPath, Power Automate)
- Understanding of ethical AI use and data privacy principles
