Salary: $78,000 + Superannuation + Salary Packaging + Employee Discounts

About the Role

As Lutheran Services continues to grow and transform aged care and community services, our payroll operations are scaling to meet the needs of a diverse and expanding workforce.

This role supports the payroll function by coordinating payroll processing, supporting onboarding, and ensuring data integrity across payroll systems. You’ll work closely with Finance and People & Culture teams to resolve queries, maintain accurate employee records, and support the delivery of high-quality, timely payroll services.

You will:

  • Prepare and undertake accurate and timely end-to-end payroll processing
  • Coordinate incoming payroll documentation and allocate to correct folders
  • Maintain employee records throughout the lifecycle, including onboarding, coding, pay records, and terminations
  • Assist with documenting payroll procedures and process improvements
  • Support payroll queries across the organisation
  • Build foundational knowledge in payroll systems, legislation, and enterprise agreements
  • Collaborate with Finance and P&C teams to resolve payroll-related enquiries
  • Foster strong relationships with employees, Service Managers, and site administrators

  • Experience working medium - high volume payroll systems and procedures
  • Strong clerical and Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • A collaborative and problem-solving mindset
  • A valid Police Check (or willingness to obtain one
