Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time
Remuneration: $68,000 - $73,000 p.a. + Superannuation + $15,900 available for Salary Packaging + Benefits

As a Home Care Scheduler with Lutheran Services, you’ll be the backbone of seamless service delivery—ensuring clients receive the care they need, when they need it. Your role optimises resources, reduces costs, and supports our mission to provide exceptional care across Queensland. About You

You’re detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about creating systems that work for people. Ideally, you have:

  • Experience in a similar rostering or scheduling role

  • Strong practical problem-solving skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy requirements

  • A valid Police Check

    (Desirable: Understanding of Awards/Enterprise Agreements, experience with rostering software, and scheduling in aged care or community services.)

 

About the Role

This role is critical to ensuring Home Care services run smoothly and efficiently. Your team will work on a rotating roster covering shifts from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday. With standard 8-hour days, you’ll ensure our home care clients receive the services they need. This role is office-based, and you’ll be responsible for

  • Developing, distributing, and maintaining Home Care schedules in line with legislative and policy requirements

  • Managing roster changes promptly and communicating effectively to minimise disruption

  • Consulting and negotiating with staff to deliver fair and reasonable outcomes

  • Reconciling shifts, mileage forms, and codes for Finance processing

  • Reporting and analysing rostering data to support continuous improvement

  • Providing advice to stakeholders on rostering matters

This role may include working on public holidays on occassion.
