Location: Teviot Home Care,  Boonah - QLD
Role Type: Permanent Part-Time Position (30 hours per fortnight | Mon to Fri)
Remuneration: $32.99 - $34.49 ph + Salary Packaging + Shift Penalties + Access to staff discounts & benefits. 

Your Role – Supporting & Encouraging Growth:

At Lutheran Services, we are looking for compassionate and motivated Support Workers to provide flexible, person-centred support to individuals. As a Support Worker in Home Care, you will be assisting the our clients to live their fullest lives at home by assisting with dressing or showering, transfers to shopping or doctors' appointments, cooking and light domestic tasks. Your care and support will foster a safe and nurturing environment that promotes overall well-being. 

As a Support Worker, you will:
  • Provide flexible support tailored to client needs and preferences.
  • Assist with personal care and daily living tasks, ensuring dignity and independence.
  • Encourage community participation and social engagement for individuals.
  • Support skill development and independence-building activities.
  • Work collaboratively with case managers and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client care and interactions.
What You Bring to the Team:
  • Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Disability Support, Aged Care, or Home Care.
  • A strong passion for empowering individuals with disabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with clients and their families.
  • Flexibility to work within a structured fortnightly schedule.
  • A valid Queensland Driver’s Licence.
  • A valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance & Blue Card.
