We’re looking for a Creative Lifestyle Coordinator to lead meaningful activities and experiences that bring residents together, support wellbeing and help create a positive and connected community at our Trinder Park Aged Care.

Role Type: 
Full Time (Mon to Fri)  
Remuneration: $39.91 - $41.39 hr + Super + Salary Packaging +Access to staff discounts & benefits.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is creative, organised and passionate about working with older people and enjoys turning ideas into engaging activities and events.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and coordinate a client-centred lifestyle and creative activities program
  • Design activities around residents’ interests, abilities, cultural backgrounds and personal preferences
  • Lead individual and group activities, events and creative programs
  • Evaluate activities and make improvements based on resident feedback
  • Build connections with the local community to create new opportunities for residents
  • Lead and coordinate our volunteer program, including recruitment, orientation, training and support
  • Supervise and support Creative Lifestyle Facilitators and volunteers
  • Maintain records and reports to support quality service delivery and accreditation requirements
  • Work closely with residents, families, Care Managers, Service Managers and the wider team
  • Provide direct care activities when required.

What you’ll bring

  • A relevant qualification in Lifestyle, Leisure, Arts, Drama, Dance, Music Therapy, Occupational Therapy or a related field
  • Experience designing and facilitating activities and events for individuals and groups
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Ability to lead, support and supervise a team
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Queensland Driver’s Licence
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or Police Check
Experience working with older people, people living with dementia, volunteer coordination or administration will be highly regarded.
