Remuneration: $39.91 - $41.39 hr + Super + Salary Packaging +Access to staff discounts & benefits.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is creative, organised and passionate about working with older people and enjoys turning ideas into engaging activities and events.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and coordinate a client-centred lifestyle and creative activities program
- Design activities around residents’ interests, abilities, cultural backgrounds and personal preferences
- Lead individual and group activities, events and creative programs
- Evaluate activities and make improvements based on resident feedback
- Build connections with the local community to create new opportunities for residents
- Lead and coordinate our volunteer program, including recruitment, orientation, training and support
- Supervise and support Creative Lifestyle Facilitators and volunteers
- Maintain records and reports to support quality service delivery and accreditation requirements
- Work closely with residents, families, Care Managers, Service Managers and the wider team
- Provide direct care activities when required.
What you’ll bring
- A relevant qualification in Lifestyle, Leisure, Arts, Drama, Dance, Music Therapy, Occupational Therapy or a related field
- Experience designing and facilitating activities and events for individuals and groups
- Strong communication and people skills
- Ability to lead, support and supervise a team
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Queensland Driver’s Licence
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or Police Check
