What’s the Role About?
As a Home Care Client and Community Advisor, you'll be the trusted expert clients turn to when they need guidance on navigating home care services. You’ll be a relationship builder, an advocate, and a go-to resource, ensuring clients are supported and understand their options every step of the way. You'll help them access the right services to meet their needs and be part of a compassionate team that embodies the values of Lutheran Services.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead Generation & Client Acquisition: You're the home care expert with the know-how to drive lead generation and client acquisition. Whether it's through innovative outreach, creative networking, or tapping into existing community relationships, you know how to find new clients and convert them into loyal supporters.
  • Client Onboarding:  You will help clients  feel confident in their aged care  journey. You’ll guide them through the process with ease, explaining their options and ensuring they understand the aged care process, working collaboratively with the home care team throughout their onboarding.
  • Think Outside the Box: We’re looking for someone who isn’t afraid to think outside the box and come up with fresh, creative solutions to client acquisition challenges. Your ability to adapt and explore new ways of engaging clients will be key to your success.
  • Community Engagement: As a Client and Community Advisor, you will build profile and represent Lutheran Services within the community, attending and presenting at events, building partnerships, and raising awareness of our services across the region.
  • Customer Care: You’ll maintain ongoing communication with new clients, ensuring they feel supported and throughout their aged care journey.

  • A Home Care Expert: You’ve got experience working in home care and a deep understanding of the ins and outs of the industry. You know the tips and techniques to attract new clients and keep them engaged. You’re always looking for innovative solutions to make clients feel valued and supported.
  • Client Acquisition Pro: You’ve got a track record of successfully acquiring new clients and growing your customer base. Whether it’s through relationships, digital strategies, or face-to-face meetings, you’ve got the skills to bring in new business.
  • Creative Thinker: You don’t just follow the traditional path—you’re always thinking outside the box and trying new approaches to get the job done.
  • A Relationship Builder: You love engaging with people, whether it’s referrers, clients, families, or other community members. You can quickly build trust and rapport and know how to keep people engaged.
  • A Self-Starter with Strong Organisation Skills: You can manage multiple leads, clients, and ongoing projects while staying organised and on top of deadlines.
