We're looking for a compassionate and experienced Podiatrist to join our Home Care team at Trinder Park. In this role, you'll provide high-quality podiatry services that support older people to maintain their mobility, independence and quality of life while remaining in their own homes. Working closely with clients, families and the broader Home Care team, you'll deliver evidence-based care that is tailored to each person's goals and clinical needs.

Locations: Trinder Park Homecare - Allied Health Hub - Woodridge, QLD 
Role Type: Permanent Part Time Position | 16 hrs fortnight | Monday and Wednesday - 8.00 am to 4.00 pm 
Remuneration: 
$46.81 - $53.23 ph + Super + Salary Packaging + Access to staff discounts & benefits 


What You'll Be Doing:
As our Podiatrist, comprehensive podiatry services tailored to meet the unique needs of our homecare clients, including:

  • Conducting comprehensive podiatry assessments and developing individual treatment plans
  • Providing routine and complex foot care, including nail care, skin care and callus management
  • Assessing and managing foot-related conditions, wounds and risk factors
  • Supporting clients with mobility, comfort and falls prevention strategies
  • Providing education and advice to clients, families and care staff on foot health and preventative care
  • Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and treatment records
  • Collaborating with Home Care Partners, Registered Nurses, Allied Health professionals and external providers to achieve the best outcomes for clients
  • Ensuring practice complies with professional standards, organisational policies and relevant legislation.

About You:
You'll be a qualified Podiatrist who enjoys building meaningful relationships and providing high-quality care in a community setting. You'll have:

  • Current registration with the Podiatry Board of Australia (AHPRA)
  • Experience working as a Podiatrist, ideally within community or aged care
  • Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
  • MUST have a valid Open Queensland Driver’s Licence & Access to a reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle.
  • A valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and/or Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
