Part of Lutheran Services, Trinder Park Aged Care service in Woodridge is a 156 bedded aged care facility with a community focus and we are committed to providing compassionate and high-quality care to our residents.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about delivering person-centred care to our residents with dignity and respect. We aim to create a supportive and nurturing environment where our staff and residents thrive!

About you:

To see you successful in this role you will have:

  • AHPRA (unrestricted) Registered Nurse 
  • Experience in using aged care software solutions 
  • A passion for elder care and be a strong advocate for providing customer focused clinical care
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Well developed skills in group facilitation as well as working one-on-one
  • Minimum 12 months postgraduate experience (desirable)
  • Full work rights within Australia

  • Providing comprehensive evidence-based nursing care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary health care team
  • Performing comprehensive nursing assessments develop and implement plans of care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary health care team and evaluate   the progress of patient care outcomes
  • Exercising sound clinical judgement, critical thinking and ethical decision making processes in the delivery and evaluation of care
  • Ensuring clients and other staff are treated fairly and with mutual respect and understanding, regardless of cultural, religious, ethnic and linguistic backgrounds
  • Maintaining professional skills and knowledge of self and others through participation in continuing education and performance appraisal and development
  • Provide guidance and direction to a team of carers and maintain best practice at all times.

Salary range is from $38.76 - $44.39 (base hourly) plus shift penalties, applicable allowances and superannuation.
