Administration Officer – Workforce
We’re seeking an experienced Administration Officer - Workforce to join our team. In this role, you'll play a critical part in ensuring our service is appropriately staffed to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care. You'll be responsible for workforce rostering, staff coordination, training compliance, workforce reporting, and labour cost management, helping ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time.

Salary: $31.46 p/hr + Superannuation + Salary Packaging + Access to staff discounts & benefits
What You'll Do:

- Develop and manage accurate, efficient staff rosters that meet resident needs and comply with operational and legislative requirements.
- Manage staff availability, leave requests, shift changes, and unplanned absences to ensure adequate workforce coverage.
- Monitor staffing levels and proactively adjust rosters to address workforce challenges and changing service demands.
- Support workforce planning by analysing staffing trends, forecasting future requirements, and providing recommendations to leadership.
- Prepare workforce reports including overtime, staffing variances, labour costs and workforce utilisation.
- Coordinate mandatory training, performance review schedules, development meetings, and compliance-related workforce activities.
- Act as the first point of contact for roster-related enquiries, supporting employees with scheduling, availability and workforce matters.
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding activities to support workforce requirements.
- Work closely with the Service Manager to monitor labour costs, minimise agency usage, and contribute to workforce budget management.
What You’ll Bring:
We're looking for a proactive and organised individual who can build positive relationships while maintaining accuracy and compliance:
- Previous experience in rostering, workforce planning, scheduling, or a similar administration role.
- Knowledge of workplace legislation, awards, enterprise agreements and workforce compliance requirements.
- Strong organisational, time management and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage staff at all levels.
- Experience using rostering systems such as Humanforce or similar workforce management platforms.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Cert IV in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent (highly desirable).
- Current NDIS Worker Screening clearance.
