Position: 60 hours per fortnight (including one weekend per fortnight)
Location: Gympie, Queensland
Remuneration: $39.96 – $48.43 per hour + Super + Salary Packaging + Staff discounts & benefits

 

About the Role

You’ll deliver high‑quality, person‑centred nursing care to clients in their own homes, supporting them to live safely and independently. Working closely with Home Care Managers, Coordinators, and community teams, you’ll play a key role in clinical leadership and care continuity. Your responsibilities include:

  • Delivering individualised nursing care in clients’ homes

  • Conducting nursing assessments, developing care plans, and completing clinical documentation

  • Mentoring and supporting Home Care Workers in the community

  • Providing clinical advice to clients and families with dignity, choice, and respect

  • Collaborating with internal teams and external health professionals

  • Ensuring compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, legislation, and Lutheran Services policies

 

About You

You’re a compassionate and capable Registered Nurse who enjoys autonomy, variety, and building strong client relationships. You’ll bring:

  • Current AHPRA registration (Nursing)

  • Experience in home care, aged care, or community nursing

  • Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills

  • Confidence mentoring and supporting care staff

  • Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle

  • Current NDIS Worker Screening or National Police Check
