About the Role
As a Clinical Nurse, you’ll be the clinical leader on the floor, ensuring residents receive the highest standard of care. You’ll mentor and support nursing and care staff, oversee clinical governance, and contribute to a positive, modern workplace culture.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading and motivating nursing and care teams to deliver person-centred care
• Maintaining compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and Accreditation requirements
• Overseeing medication management and clinical documentation
• Managing clinical rosters and resources to meet resident needs
• Facilitating AN-ACC submissions to optimise funding
• Supporting recruitment, admissions, and discharges
• Driving quality improvement initiatives and compliance processes
• Providing hands-on clinical care when needed
What We’re Looking For
• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Demonstrated experience in the aged care sector – aged care Clinical Nurse experience is highly desirable but not essential
• Previous experience leading a clinical team
• Strong knowledge of AN-ACC funding and Aged Care Accreditation Standards
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Intermediate computer literacy
• Valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or Police Check
• Current Queensland Driver’s Licence
