Lutheran Services is seeking a capable and community-focused Retirement Village Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and resident wellbeing at Alondra, Nundah.
Location: Alondra, Nundah
Employment Type: Permanent Part-Time, 20 hours per week
Hours: Monday 10:30am – 2:30pm; Tuesday to Friday 12:30pm – 4:30pm
Hourly rate: $62.62/hr + Super + Salary Packaging
About The Role:
In this role, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operations of Alondra, supporting a well-run village where residents feel informed, respected and connected. This is a position for someone who is comfortable working with a high level of autonomy, while also staying connected to a broader organisation that provides practical guidance, shared expertise and responsive support when needed.
As Retirement Living Manager, you will:
- Oversee the daily operations of village, ensuring compliance and resident satisfaction
- Manage village budgets, financial reporting, and resident communications
- Support maintenance planning, property presentation, and asset renewal
- Partner with marketing and sales teams to maintain occupancy and promote village life
- Build strong connections with residents, families, and the local community
- Ensure compliance with the Retirement Villages Act and relevant aged care regulations
- Champion a safe, engaging, and respectful environment where residents feel at home
About You
- Tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in retirement living, property management, hospitality, or community services
- Strong leadership, decision-making and financial management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication with a customer-first mindset
- Ability to manage complex service needs across multiple locations
- Tenacious, collaborative, and solutions-focused
- Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
- NDIS Worker Screening clearance
- Knowledge of retirement village operations and compliance
A background in construction, asset management, property management or maintenance will be highly regarded.
